Water Saving and Energy Audit
About 100 students from the ITE CE’s School Of Engineering
put in practice their skills learnt in the course of studies
ranging from electrical , plumbing & sanitary works to
all forms of building services
They also guided 20 students from the Association for persons
with Special Needs (APSN) Tanglin School to participate in
the Bright Homes Program.
The Bright Homes Program enables these youths to work together
& use their skills not only to help the needy to save
costs through reduced utilities usage but to also promote
environmentally friendly habits among our community.
The students installed thimbles and water saving devices
at 50 households located at Jln Kukoh Chinatown. They also
share the tips on how to save the energy with the needy.
Through the process, the students had a better understanding
of the needy and also the senior citizens staying in that
central CDC area.
