Racial Harmonious Foods & Crafts Funfair
Our education system is going through a radical transformation to prepare our students for the globalization challenge. A good platform is essential to enable our youth to voice their needs and to integrate our students with the community at the earliest opportunity especially through the theme racial harmony.

With this in mind, 50 students and 5 staff from ITE College East ASHRAE Student Branch worked together to contribute their artistic & entrepreneurship talents to celebrate racial harmony with the community at large.

It was through this first-of-its-kind project that had brought together another 50 students from the North West district such as Evergreen Primary School and Innova Junior College to hold this 24-hour marathon type of Racial harmony foods & craft funfair at Republic Polytechnic on the 23 rd July 2006. The proceeds from this funfair had also been donated to two charitable organizations namely, ST pocket money fund and En Community Services Society.

The Racial Harmonious Foods & Craft Funfair which had been an innovative, explosive & impactful event had ultimately imbued in the students strong passion for racial harmony & had developed a strong sense of social & life entrepreneurship skills mindset in our students.
