| ITE ASHRAE VISIT TO M.0.E.
On 10th May 2002, ITE ASHRAE organised its
technical visit to the Ministry of Education(MOE) at 1 Buona
Vista Drive. The Estate and Management team from the Ministry
guided our students at the air-conditioning plant building.
The Water Cooled Centrifugal system of MOE includes cooling
towers, condenser water pumps, chilled water pumps, air handling
units, fan coil units and centrifugal chillers.
Mr C Sitta, our kind guide, explained tiredlessly
to the students enquiries. Student members got the chance
to see for themselves the real working situations and conditions
of the system which are in line with the air-conditioning
and refrigeration course taught at NITEC level.( National
ITE Certificate Level).
