Air-Con Servicing and Community Service
at Jamiyah Home
On the14th September, 20 students from ITE
EAST(BEDOK) went to Jamiyah Home For The Aged at No.1 Tampines
Ave 3 to service 34 sets of air-con units.
This community service project is the joint
effort of ITE-ASHRAE and
NORTH EAST CDC (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE).
The manager of North East CDC, Mr Khairulnizam
Massuan stated that ITE-ASHRAE student members contribution
in air-con servicing was indeed an enriching experience for
the students who were pursuing the air-con courses in ITE
EAST BEDOK. The students were able to perform community service
while practice what they had learnt in the institute.
At the end of their voluntary services,
the students indicated that they really enjoyed the experience
gained and hoped that they have more of these events to be
able to experience more ‘hands-on’ activities.

“Er..dare not see how you charge in the gas!..”
This is what I call ‘Service with Smiles!’
