INTRODUCTION
In recent years, building commissioning has started to capture interest in the international scene as an essential green building initiative for ensuring the high performance of buildings. To keep pace with international practices, the BCA Academy and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) – Singapore Chapter has jointly organise this 1 ½ day workshop to help building professionals and building owners to understand the benefits and values of building commissioning to a green building project.

About the Speaker


Ron Wilkinson, PE, LEED AP

Ron is an authority on commissioning in LEED projects and sustainable buildings, and currently he is the Senior Commissioning Project Manager with AKF Engineers, LLC in New York City.

He has been involved in LEED commissioning requirements since the inception of the program. He wrote the original LEED commissioning training module and was the original member facilitating
it. He has managed and marketed commissioning services, as both an owner’s representative and commissioning provider, for hundreds of projects in the US.
